FLCC> Ithaca in Outside Magazine- AKA velodrome revisited

For whatever reason, I receive Outside magazine for free.  On page 71 of
the latest issue, it profiles Ithaca as one of America's top 20
progressive towns.  Here is an excerpt:

"...and local visionary Mack Travis and his son, Frost, are cleaning up
and transforming the Ithaca Gun factory (a crumbling brick structure with
a lead-contaminated field next to 150-foot Ithaca Falls) into condos."

When are they going to profile local visionaries Lawney and Frattini,
whose plans for the Ithaca Gun Factory included a 250m indoor velodrome
and indoor rec center?!?!?  Let's talk about real vision here, folks! 
Condos?  Hardly progressive.
