What a day and what a ride!
It was such a great ride that in the absence of our regular  
prosaists, John and Brenda, I felt I must post some sort of report.   
My report, however, won't be an in-depth description of each rider  
including their professional and personal histories, nor will it be a  
play-by-play of the cycling intrigues of the day.  I don't have that  
kind of memory or skill!

I will say, though, that we had an amazing turn out - I'm not sure  
how many left from Friendly's (8-10?), but 8 (Kira, Vivian, Tom,  
Gary, Eric, Marilyn, Steve P., and me) rolled out of my parking lot,  
and then in total ~30 folks were in the Moravia parking lot.  The  
riding was fun and full of sprints (thanks to Gary "The Instigator"  
Hodges), as well as full of laughter.  What a perfect combination!   
And then to top if off a few of us sat and relaxed on the porch  
afterwards with a beer.  Actually, I had lost my house key (now  
found, by the way) so I had a neighbor leave his copy by my front  
door.  So when Tom, Eric, I and rolled up to the house, there were  
Gary, Blaine, and Steve B. who had already helped themselves to brews!

What a perfect day.

I'm already looking forward to next week's ride!
