FLCC> ESG qualifiers - Cookies Crumbling ?

While our times weren't official, I think both Matt and I were pleased
with our performances. For what it's worth, here's our secrets to a good
uphill TT:
1. Show up 10 minutes before the start
2. Assemble bike, change into kit
3. Argue with race officials (or talk to a wall for 5 minutes if lacking
official)
4. Ride to the start (make sure it's less than 400m away- you don't want
to waste stored energy by warming up)
5. Ride back and forth at <5mph in a 50m stretch for ~5minutes
6. No small gears (right, Andy?)...don't come out of your big ring

Also- don't forget the important pre-race nutrition of a sugar-free Red
Bull (for Matt) and a Wegmans chocolate chip muffin (myself).

It's really too bad this all happened, because I was looking forward to
racing with everyone if I qualified. Regardless, it sounds like Central
will be bringing a solid team- good luck. I suppose the ESG bureaucrats
expect me to change my driver's license with every year as I move from
place to place within Ithaca? No worries, I won't be a traitor and race
for the Long Island region, even though I made idle "threats" otherwise
haha.
