Charles,

Great work in the B group...sounds like you had a great race with Marko.

The pack for the A race was huge. The race started with Glenn and Steve Sloan and two others breaking away on Midline....the pack just seemed un-interested in chasing....I got to the front and tried motivating them to chase...took about about a half a mile pull and pulled over for the next...nope! no one was interested. So it seemed as if they were going to get away....we eventually caught them decending down to 79. Now Glenn goes with Jacob B. from cornell.....they basically rode away up Ellis Hollow and got a huge lead...again the pack seemed uninterested until we got to Ellis Hollow the 2nd time. The break was still within reach but once we hit Ringwood the gap was huge. Steve F. decided to just kill himself and bridge Brian Lawney and whoever else could hang on over the top of Ringwood......the pack shattered pretty good on ringwood leaving Brian Lawney alone chasing Glenn and Jake....Brian made contact with them on the first steep riser on MT Pleasant....took the down hill with Glenn on his wheel.....crafty Glenn basically just out-geared him up the final finishing hill. This could possibly be the longest break that stuck on the Mt Pleasant course next to when Danny Timmerman and Trevors went a way a few years back.

I did start seeing some of the guys in our group at the front when we hit Ringwood....but it was way too late. I guess everyones legs are still a little sore from this past weekend.

Great Job Glenn/Jake and also Steve F. and Brian for his monster bridge.

Andy
