I first met Todd almost 20 years ago when I was a junior racing with Tioga
Velo Club. I had the pleasure of racing with him in the team time trial for
the Empire State Games - just 5 years ago. Todd was a fantastic bike racer,
and a fantastic person. He was probably the most positive person I ever met
through bike racing and I will miss bumping into him on occasion.

My condolences to all of his family and friends.

Hey everyone,

I just was talking to him 3 weeks ago, and I literally found all this out
minutes ago, and I am in shock to say the least, so bear with me. Our good
friend and fellow rider Todd Kapeghian passed away last noght of a heart
attack, Todd was 51. More details will be in the paper as far as calling
hours etc.

Tomorrow night at Singer we will dedicate the first lap to Todd's memory, a
silent lap, slow pace, no racing, A's and B's together, then we will split
the groups apart and get one with our races.
