Thanks Dave I must have left them there just before I left for Egypt.
There are the Oakley Blades with the little rivulets of blood etched
into the bottom edges? Those are a collector's item found only at the
best cyclocross races. I believe they are at least $500 last time I
checked on ebay. Glad that the proprietor is ready to cough up so
collateral!

You might be wondering why I am responding since my name appears
different than the Don you are attempting to contact. I often change my
last name to TenKate when I travel abroad especially in countries where
fatwahs are popular. I figure that if I anger the wrong group and they
come looking for me in Ithaca they might think twice before wrangling
with the real Don TenKate. Besides the name makes me feel bigger when I
am away!

Thanks for taking such good care of my belongings.

Cheers,

The other Don T

good news

This is for Don TenKate. I don't know how to contact him directly.

Don,

Your sunglasses were found in the back of my car. That's the good news.

The bad news is that they are in two pieces. I didn't think they were

ugly, but I guess the proprietor of Swan Cycle's did because said
proprietor dropped a large, heavy box on top of them. There's more good

news. Swan Cycles is willing to provide some compensation.

I apologize about being so slow to contact you.

Dave
