FLCC> Pigeon vs FA-18 Hornet

I'm wondering if Mark sent this to the wrong list serve.  I've been
pondering it for a half hour, looking for obvious connections to cycling,
which is (supposedly) what this list serve is about, other than cheese (for
a while I thought it was the Finger Lakes Cheese Club).

Seeing no obvious points of relevance,  I can only guess:
    Twisties must be kind if like Twinkies, which have infrequently been
seen on bikes.
That's it--the only leap I can make.  Though I bet someone else can add to
it.
