FLCC> Hollenbeck race, voice recorder to return, and forgotten helmet, gloves, sunglasses, and water bottle

The moving of the finish line further up the hill was not the result of any
sense of humor. This move was flat out evil. Remember, this is the Witch
of Brooktondale. Okay, laziness too. It was much easier to get racer
numbers with the riders more strung out because of the increased climb.
Also, there were fewer numbers to get due to all the racers who died on that
last climb.

Sara Barker and all of the race volunteers are to be thanked for another
extremely well run race. Everyone had a great time, and, considering
the iffy weather and the cost of gas for racers traveling from afar, the
number of racers was quite high. Everyone noticed one innovation:
someone with a sense of humor (and probably not racing herself) moved
the finish line even farther up Van Donsel.

Someone left a Bell helmet, Fox gloves, Oakley sunglasses, and water
bottle. Contact me if they are yours.

Also, I have an Olympus voice recorder that needs to be returned to its
owner.

Dave
