Six women were able to sneak out for a 28 mile loop on Sunday, Mothers
Day. Vivian, Kelly, Tanya, Carol, Marcia and I rode the Yapple loop with
a lovely head wind for the first hour that no matter what direction we
headed seemed to be always in our face. We left at 10 with sun still out
so despite the wind it was quite lovely. Once we turned onto Yapple
someone turned off the wind and the world became so quite we could hear
ourselves breath. When we reached the top we discussed why men shouldn't
wear white bike shorts and then riding down we had the wind soaring
behind us and suddenly we all were energized, flying like the wind. Even
Kelly was riding sitting up without her hands on the bars and her arms
stretched wide open it was so wonderful. Hope to see you there on Saturday.
ciao bella,
LiLynn
