Sunday's Swandrome 'Cross event was a moderate success thanks to a bunch
of people who stepped up and volunteered in setting up the course, ran
registration and results and of course, made lots of food available. This
year, with inspiration and guidance from Felix and Christine and consulting
from others, we had a kids' event which just might have been the highlight
of the day. (Sorry Jeremy...) Ruth Sherman posted a link to her You-tube
video which may say it all...
Jeremy Gardiner was in a class by himself, making 'cross look easy while
others gave the spectators a view of just how much technique is (or isn't)
involved, as well as how much effort, pain and suffering (mostly with
smiles on their faces) the game entails. I assume that Mark Rishniw may
post results to the list.

Thanks to all who came out to play. Special thanks to all those who came
out and helped so that others could play.

Glenn
